Fashion Friday: Episode 99
Posted on February 3, 2012 | 2 CommentsThe long-anticipated Jason Wu for Target collection debuts this Sunday, February 5, 2012! Target has partnered with high-end brands in the past (like Italian knitwear designer Missoni in September 2011) that have attracted many consumers who want designer fashion without the high-end price tags. Everything in this line is priced from $19.99 to $49.99! Jason Wu's collection for Target features his signature "effortlessly elegant" styles for women. Here are some of my favorites! Read more... -

Posted on January 27, 2012 | 4 CommentsI saw this Free People Fancy Lace Dress on display and was drawn to the cute details that enhance this nude-colored dress. There are silver metallic foil embellishments that look like tiny silver flowers/leaves stamped all over the fabric. I adore the ruffle trim at the hem as well. Since it has a plunging V-neckline, I wore a sheer black chiffon blouse underneath for a more conservative look. The tie at the neck of this blouse instantly adds a cute bow to any outfit! :) Read more... -

Posted on January 20, 2012 | Leave a CommentI refrained from shopping a couple weeks after the holidays, but that didn't stop me from "window shopping" online. :) This Dropped Dots Dress was the one item I browsed repeatedly online and really wanted to purchase if it fit well. Once I got to try it on at Anthropologie a few days ago, I knew this dress was coming home with me! I like polka dot print in general, but I was particularly drawn to this dress for its simple yet elegant vintage-inspired design. Read more... -

Posted on January 13, 2012 | 2 CommentsMy fiancé surprised me with the ultimate birthday (and Christmas) present -- one of the most timeless purses of all time! He picked out this Chanel Classic Flap Bag in black lambskin with silver hardware. This purse is also known as the 2.55 bag, the number referring to February 1955 when Coco Chanel designed the initial version of this handbag. I know that this bag was a big purchase (and an even bigger surprise!), but it's definitely a classic purse that will always be in style. <3 Read more... -

Posted on December 16, 2011 | 4 CommentsEvery December I look for a special dress I like to call my "December Dress". This is the dress that I wear on my birthday as well as to the annual Google Holiday Party. When I go "December Dress" shopping, I usually don't have a particular style in mind -- just whatever catches my eye. However, this year was different since Google decided to have a themed party, which meant I had to put more effort into my outfit. Check out pictures from the party! Can you guess the theme? :) Read more...
