Although socks with heels have been popping up on runways, I haven't really followed this trend. However, I like finding items that can totally transform wardrobe or accessories that I already have. I bought a cute pair of Betsey Johnson socks that has a nice design down the front and a little pink rose adorned on the top. This blue jacket and colorful leaf-print dress are from H&M. I love the brightness of this blue jacket, which matches the little splashes of blue on the dress. This is an outfit I threw together from three pieces from American Apparel: Printed Cotton Spandex Jersey High-Waist Skirt, Multi-Layered Reversible Petticoat, and The Sash. American Apparel has many garments that can be worn in several different ways. For example, I wore the black and white polka dot skirt as a dress and added the petticoat on the bottom to add length and volume.
