Fashion Friday: Episode 89
Posted on November 4, 2011 | Leave a CommentAs soon as the weather gets too cold for open-toe flats and sandals, I dig out my UGG Australia boots that tend to get buried in my closet over the summer. Over the years I have acquired 4 pairs of the classic UGG boots (2 of which I donated and replaced with the other 2). When I saw the new style of UGG Australia boots with heels, I knew I'd have to get a pair because I really like how they look -- they're stylish and more versatile without losing the warmth and coziness of the classic ones! Posted on October 28, 2011 | Leave a CommentThis Simply Sherpa Coat is actually my very first Free People purchase ever since I started shopping there in August. I saw this on their window display, and I kept looking at it every time I walked past it until one day I eventually caved in and bought it. It's on the pricier side, but it's one of those things you can wear to make a statement and stay warm at the same time! It feels so soft and cuddly, and it's even machine washable! Read more... -

Posted on October 21, 2011 | Leave a CommentI was so excited to see Swarovski and Sanrio join forces to create their very first Hello Kitty Collection! I'm already a big fan of both companies, but when you put them together -- it's like a dream come true! Accessories in the collection include bracelets, rings, necklaces, earrings, and clutch bags. There are also Swarovski Hello Kitty crystal figurines and much more. I was particularly excited about these two earrings, which my fiancé ended up giving to me as a surprise! Read more... -

Posted on October 14, 2011 | Leave a CommentThis is a fall-friendly outfit I put together after two separate shopping trips to Free People. I first picked up this Long Reversible Fur Vest, because I loved the fact that it can be worn two ways and can be layered on top of many outfits. This maxi vest has a floral-printed side with gold details and faux-fur lining that you can also wear inside out. I wore it with a Frances Cocoon Dress that's also from Free People -- the long sleeves are perfect to keep my arms warm while wearing this vest! Read more... -
Fashion Friday: Episode 85
Posted on October 7, 2011 | 3 CommentsI love candy, so I was so excited to see this colorful, shiny purse made out of candy wrappers! Eco Fashions is a San Francisco-based handbag company that makes all sorts of bags, totes, and clutches out of recycled materials. This purse was handmade from excess stocks of candy wrappers that have slight misprints -- these candy wrappers would have ended up in a landfill if it weren't craftily transformed into a beautiful purse! It is also surprisingly durable and water resistant. Read more...
