Fashion Friday: Episode 84
Posted on September 30, 2011 | 6 CommentsYou'll be seeing more clothing and accessories from Free People featured in my Fashion Fridays, since that's where I've been doing all my shopping lately. I liked the Swalesdale Texture Shrug that I wrote about last Friday so much that I ended up getting one in Grey. I wore this gray shrug with a Floral Lace Fit and Flare Dress that's also from Free People. The dress is gray with lavender lining, and it has long sleeves that are great for cooler fall weather. Posted on September 23, 2011 | 1 CommentIf you want to add something to your wardrobe that embodies the fur trend this fall, this Swalesdale Texture Shrug from Free People is perfect! It is a soft pullover faux fur shrug that's a perfect accessory to warm up any outfit! I like that I can wear summer tank tops into the fall with this shrug, since it covers my shoulders and upper half of my back. This shrug also instantly adds glamour or funk to your outfit depending on what you wear it with. Read more... -
Fashion Friday: Episode 82
Posted on September 16, 2011 | Leave a CommentNow that summer is coming to an end yet the weather has still been pretty warm, I was drawn to this dress since the length, material, and sleeves make it a good transition piece for chillier weather. The dress is very form fitting but still comfortable to walk around. I like the ruching along the sides of the dress that accentuate the hips. I wore it with a Nine West square scarf from Nordstrom that has cascading gold chain that goes along two sides of the scarf. Read more... -
Fashion Friday: Episode 81
Posted on September 9, 2011 | 1 CommentWhen I saw this dress online, I knew that it was going to be my "Vegas dress" -- it's sophisticated and sexy without being too revealing. However, I didn't have any plans to go to Las Vegas at the time, but I figured I should order it anyway and save it until I do. I've had it hanging in my closet for a little over a month until it made its debut on a last minute Labor Day weekend trip to Las Vegas. :) This champagne and black dress is fun to wear for a night out! Posted on September 2, 2011 | Leave a CommentHelping a child in need can be as easy as buying a pair of shoes! TOMS gives a new pair of shoes to a child in need with every pair of shoes you buy. I bought my first pair of TOMS two weeks ago, and I have to say I love it -- not only is it comfortable and cute, it gives me the happy feeling of having done something good. The shoe I have is one of their newest styles, a Black Cord Wrap Wedge that I can wear with pretty much anything! Read more...
