Now that summer is coming to an end yet the weather has still been pretty warm, I was drawn to this dress since the length, material, and sleeves make it a good transition piece for chillier weather. The dress is very form fitting but still comfortable to walk around. I like the ruching along the sides of the dress that accentuate the hips. I wore it with a Nine West square scarf from Nordstrom that has cascading gold chain that goes along two sides of the scarf. Read more...

When I saw this dress online, I knew that it was going to be my "Vegas dress" -- it's sophisticated and sexy without being too revealing. However, I didn't have any plans to go to Las Vegas at the time, but I figured I should order it anyway and save it until I do. I've had it hanging in my closet for a little over a month until it made its debut on a last minute Labor Day weekend trip to Las Vegas. :) This champagne and black dress is fun to wear for a night out! Helping a child in need can be as easy as buying a pair of shoes! TOMS gives a new pair of shoes to a child in need with every pair of shoes you buy. I bought my first pair of TOMS two weeks ago, and I have to say I love it -- not only is it comfortable and cute, it gives me the happy feeling of having done something good.
