Graduation Makeup and Hair
Posted on June 3, 2010 | 3 CommentsHere are some tips for those of you who are wondering what to do with your makeup and hair for graduation. Apply makeup that you've done before, like your everyday natural makeup. Most likely, you'll be nervous and excited in the morning, and it'll be easier to get ready if you already have a good idea of what makeup you want to wear and how it will look like. For your hair, it's easiest to keep you hair down while not adding extra volume to the top of your head. Your cap will stay on easier and will look nicer in pictures if you keep the top as flat as possible and pin the cap down with a few bobby pins. Read more... -
Hairlocs Hair Extensions
Posted on May 26, 2010 | 34 CommentsI first tried Hairloc extensions in the beginning of January 2010, and I've been happy with the quality of the extensions overall. I went to the salon once in the past 5 months to move the extensions back up near the roots of my hair, but other than that these extensions have held up and retained the funky colors I wanted (which usually wash out in 1 to 2 weeks if I colored my actual hair). If you plan to try Hairloc extensions, here are the Do's and Don'ts to make your extensions last as long as possible! Read more... -
Vidal Sassoon Triple-Barrel Waver
Posted on May 6, 2010 | 4 CommentsI found my old Vidal Sasson Triple-Barrel Waver I had my first year of college. It's my second one ever, since I had misplaced my first one that I got sometime in high school. Years later, this thing still works! I like using this triple-barrel waver to add volume and natural-looking waves to my hair. This triple-barrel waver has lasted for years, and it's cheap! Read more... -
Quick Hair Trick: Updo without any hair ties, clips, & pins!
Posted on March 31, 2010 | 174 CommentsI recorded a video almost a year and a half ago about how I put my hair up quickly without any hair ties, clips, pins, etc. Since then, my video has gotten over 240,000 views! I came up with this hair trick back in middle school. I've always had long hair, so I wanted to come up with a way to quickly get my hair away from my face during class or whenever I didn't have a hair tie. I decided to also write up a tutorial with pictures on how to do this, along with including my original video here! Enjoy! Read more... -
Enzo Milano Hair Style
Posted on January 9, 2010 | 3 CommentsHere's how my hair turned out after using my new 25mm (1 inch) Enzo Milano Curling Iron. I just love the way you can control the curls. The curls last all day too! I sectioned my hair in three parts, sprayed heat protection styling spray (Nexxus Heat Protexx Heat Protection Styling Spray), curled, then hair sprayed as I finished each section (L'Oreal Paris Studio Perfect Fix Ultra-Fine Finishing Spray).
