Creating balance with the makeup on your face is purely based on your own personal preference. When it comes to professional makeup, there are four basic combinations that can result in the most balanced looks. Each of these combinations creates a different effect, and it’s up to you to play with makeup, try these combinations, and see which ones (if not all) you like most with your features. Here’s a description of each combination and examples of my past looks that fall under each category.
A reader asked me about my favorite makeup remover. I use Olay Daily Facials hydrating cleansing cloths, because they’re cheap (I buy them in bulk at Costco) and I think they work well for my needs. Here are the steps of my makeup removing routine that I do every night.
Accidentally get mascara under your eye? It’s okay! It happens to a lot of us. Sometimes we blink too hard before the mascara is completely dry and get a little under our eye; sometimes we leave a big blob of mascara on our skin.
