    Brown and Gold-Green Duochrome Look

This is my first makeup look using one of the Inglot AMC Pure Pigment Eye Shadows that I recently reviewed. I applied "84" pigment wet to intensify this gold with green duochrome color. Duochromes shift between two different colors depending on the way light hits them -- in these pictures, the light hits my center lid and really brings out the gold-green in that area. Read more...

    White, Gold, and Purple EOTD

Reader Maria sent me a request for an eye makeup look that she can wear with her formal eggplant purple dress for an Air Force ball. Since she mentioned that she prefers eye shadow that isn't too smokey, I came up with this look that uses neutral colors with a little pop of purple to tie in the color of her dress. I've used this pigment in a previous look with green and brown pigments. I wanted to see how it would look paired with dark gray, so this is how it turned out! Read more...

Sephora: Urban Decay “Beauty in a Box” + Look

Urban Decay "Beauty in a Box" is a limited edition makeup set that's exclusive to Sephora. This set (valued at $91) came out a few months ago for $52, but it is now on sale for $39. I picked up a box when I saw the lower price at my nearby Sephora store last week. It comes with 2 of my favorite full-sized glitter liners as well as a full-sized Sin Primer Potion and some other goodies. Here's a glittery makeup look using all the products from this set!
