    Dark Gray and Gold Look

The gold color I used in this look is MAC Pigment in "Old Gold” (frosted tarnished gold). This is a gorgeous shade of gold -- like a yellow gold with some green. I've used this pigment in a previous look with green and brown pigments. I wanted to see how it would look paired with dark gray, so this is how it turned out! Read more...

Sephora: Urban Decay “Beauty in a Box” + Look

Urban Decay "Beauty in a Box" is a limited edition makeup set that's exclusive to Sephora. This set (valued at $91) came out a few months ago for $52, but it is now on sale for $39. It comes with 2 of my favorite full-sized glitter liners as well as a full-sized Sin Primer Potion and some other goodies. Here's a glittery makeup look using all the products from this set! tokidoki Robbery Palette Look

This look features the Royal Pride Palette, my favorite of the three removable palettes that come with the tokidoki Robbery Palette I recently reviewed. Royal Pride Palette has really pigmented copper, gold, rust, and brown eye shadows, and it is the only palette that comes with a bronzer (the other two come with blush). See how they all look together in this makeup look! Read more...

    Holiday Party Makeup Look

Here's my holiday party makeup look, complete with glitter and crystals! I used both cosmetic grade gold glitter with eyelash glue and Milani Crystal Eyes in gold on my eyes. I also applied three crystals in a line that follows the curve of my lower lash line. The crystals on the ends are silver and the one in the middle is a yellow gold to match the silver and gold sequins on my holiday party dress. Read more...

This is the look I wore to Thanksgiving dinner with my family. The eye shadow colors remind me of the brown, gray, and gold iridescence found in turkey feathers. Try this makeup look for your next holiday gathering (especially with red lipstick)! Read more...
