Yellow, Green, and Purple Look
Posted on August 24, 2011 | 2 CommentsThis is a makeup look I came up with when I was in Hawaii last month. I've worn it a couple times since then, because it's a fun colorful look with a dash of glitter! The glitter was a last minute decision that I added after I had already put my eye shadow, liner, and mascara. I like how it gives just enough sparkle to your eye makeup without taking away from all the pretty colors. Read more... -
Green, Orange, and Blue Look
Posted on August 3, 2011 | 4 CommentsFor this colorful makeup look, I felt like using a combination of some of my favorite eye shadow brands -- Inglot, Make Up For Ever, and MAC. I wore it with a bright orange lipstick to bring out the little bit of orange I used on my lid. Alternatively, you can wear a nude lip or a lighter coral lip color to keep the focus of all the bright, bold colors only on your eyes. Read more... -
Bright Green and Yellow Look
Posted on May 31, 2011 | 6 CommentsTry this fun, bright look on a sunny day out to the beach or a picnic in the park. There are bright pops of yellow and green on the inner and outer part of the lid. I used a paler green color on the center lid as a transition between the two vibrant colors. I also applied eye pencils in a darker green and a gold along the lower lash line to complete the look. Purple and Green Look
Posted on May 23, 2011 | 8 CommentsThis look features one of my favorite green eye shadows from Inglot Cosmetics. I also used other Inglot colors -- two shades of purple on the outer V and crease and a light pink color for highlight. For fun, I created a subtle double-winged line for my eyeliner and flicked a lime green gel liner that's similar in color to the green eye shadow between the two wings. Read more... -
Green Smokey Eye Look
Posted on May 16, 2011 | 10 CommentsIf you love green eye shadow, try this green smokey eye! Apply the darkest green color from your upper lash line up to just past your crease. I like to blend a lighter green color along the entire crease to create a smooth transition between the highlight color and the darkest green. Check out my Purple and Black Smokey Eye and Classic Black Smokey Eye looks too! :) Read more...
