For this colorful makeup look, I felt like using a combination of some of my favorite eye shadow brands -- Inglot, Make Up For Ever, and MAC. I wore it with a bright orange lipstick to bring out the little bit of orange I used on my lid. Bright Orange and Pink Look

To further emphasize my love for Make Up For Ever's bright matte eye shadows, here's a really bright look using a neon pink ("75") and vibrant matte orange ("18"). These eye shadows are so pigmented that the color will stay as intense the whole day. Another great thing I love about these bright matte MUFE eye shadows is that the color you see on the pan is how it shows up on your eyes, as you can see in these pictures! Read more...
Sunset Beach Makeup Look

This makeup look was inspired by sun setting on a beach, when the sky lights up in orange hues that contrasts the blue ocean horizon. I used two shades of orange on the lid -- a lighter shimmer and a darker matte. The shimmer next to the matte color creates a glistening effect. I applied a bright blue eye shadow on the lower lash line to represent the ocean. Read more...

This makeup look matches the coral dress and green scarf I wrote about in my latest Fashion Friday post. Since coral was the dominant color of my outfit, I decided to use mostly green eye shadows (as well as an olive green pencil on my lower waterline). I recently got some OCC Lip Tars from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, and my favorite of the ones I have so far is called "Grandma". This lip color is a beautiful true coral. I usually pick my lipstick color after I've come up with my eye shadow look, but this "Grandma" was so pretty that I came up with this blue and coral makeup look to go along with it. Read more...
