    Orange and Brown Look

    With Thanksgiving coming up, I wanted to create a makeup look that reminds me of harvest. One of the first things that comes to mind when I think of harvest is the brown horn of plenty (the cornucopia) with orange pumpkins in it. For this look, the brown eye shadows represent the horn-shaped wicker basket and there's a touch of orange on the outer lid and a pale orange on the inner lid to represent the scattered pumpkins.     Orange and Blue Look + Pumpkin Festival!

    My favorite festival of the year was going on this past weekend -- the Half Moon Bay Art and Pumpkin Festival!     Coral and Yellow Look

    Coral is a pinkish-orange color. I used a new coral eye shadow I got with a yellow one to create this warm, vibrant look. Coral eye shadow also looks great with its complementary color teal. Since this particular coral shade is more orange, I ended up using blue (the complementary color of orange) on my upper lash line and lower waterline. Read more...

    Fall Makeup Look

    This makeup look is inspired by the orange and brown colors of the leaves we'll be seeing more of this fall season. I used a copper colored pigment that has shimmery flecks to add some sparkle on my lower lid. Since copper is a reddish brown color, I decided to use a brown eye shadow on the outer crease and a vivid red lipstick on my lips to create harmony in the entire look. Read more...

    Orange, Yellow, and Purple Look

    This is a bright eyeshadow look with orange blush and purple lipstick. The yellow and orange eye shadows on the lid and crease area are both matte, so I used shimmery colors as highlight and on my lower lash line to catch some light and make those areas a little brighter. Read more...
