“For Effect” Gray and Pink Look

This is the first makeup look I came up with using MAC Limited Edition Paint Pot in "For Effect" (see my review). To make the Inglot gray eye shadow bolder and to add more sparkle to the lid, I used For Effect first as a base on my lid and then applied the eye shadow on top of it. I also applied a matte pink eye shadow to tie in the new MAC "Rebel" lipstick I just bought. :) Read more...
Urban Decay 15 Year Anniversary Palette Look

I wasn't sure if I should buy the Urban Decay 15 Year Anniversary Palette at first, since I'm very much content with my Naked Palette. However, I was sold after swatching Junkshow (bright pink with fuchsia shift) and Deep End (bright teal shimmer) -- they're gorgeous (and the other colors are nice too)! Bright Orange and Pink Look

To further emphasize my love for Make Up For Ever's bright matte eye shadows, here's a really bright look using a neon pink ("75") and vibrant matte orange ("18"). These eye shadows are so pigmented that the color will stay as intense the whole day. Another great thing I love about these bright matte MUFE eye shadows is that the color you see on the pan is how it shows up on your eyes, as you can see in these pictures! Read more...

I recently picked up MAC's new limited edition lipstick in "Style Curve" and created this look inspired by its pinkish purple color. I used two colors from the Coastal Scents Ultra Shimmer 88 Palette to create a smokey eye that matches the vibrant color of the lipstick. Read more...

When I want a bright pink lipstick to be the main focus of my makeup, I like to wear more of a neutral eye that integrates a light pink eye shadow.
