I recently picked up MAC’s new limited edition lipstick in “Style Curve” and created this look inspired by its pinkish purple color. I used two colors from the Coastal Scents Ultra Shimmer 88 Palette to create a smokey eye that matches the vibrant color of the lipstick.
When I want a bright pink lipstick to be the main focus of my makeup, I like to wear more of a neutral eye that integrates a light pink eye shadow. I also like to wear bright lipsticks when I don’t have time to do much with my eyes. See how the bright lipstick stands out in the visually and historically “dark” scenery of the Tower of London!
This is a fun nighttime look with a pop of bright pink on the lid and on the lips. Most of the eye shadows I used in this look are shimmery, because shimmer looks great at night. I balanced the shimmery colors with a matte black color that also creates depth on the crease and outer V.
This Eye of The Day concentrates most of the colors on the outer half of the lower lid and the lower lash line and waterline for a different eye shadow effect. Here’s the breakdown on how to do this look!
This bold look has a light blue color on the lid and bright pink on the crease. I wanted the light blue to stand out even with such a bright color above it, so I did this by not transitioning it into the pink too much — only blend lightly right where the two colors meet.
