Pink and Teal Look

I wanted to try out two pink pigments I haven't worn before, and it worked out that I was wearing a new rose-print dress that had the same colors as these pigments. I added some teal to this look to complement the pink (green and red are complementary colors, opposite from each other on the color wheel; teal is a bluish-green color and pink is a tint of red). This is a fun colorful look where I used blue, teal, and gold on my eyes, light plum with a white-gold champagne highlighter for my cheeks, and pink for my lips. This is also my first look using the new "Partylicious" pigment from MAC's Alice + Olivia collection -- a gorgeous turquoise color with silver pearl. Read more...

MAC Teal Pigment Look

I've been going to MAC every week for the past 5 weeks trying to get a hold of their Teal Pigment. For some reason, they are still out of stock (I've been to both a freestanding store and the MAC Pro store in San Francisco). I'm ready to just order it online! I ended up asking for a sample of this pigment, so that I could go ahead and start creating looks with it. This is my first look using this beautiful teal pigment! Read more...
