Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat
Posted on November 22, 2011 | Leave a CommentNot only do I come up with a blue and gold makeup look for the Cal vs. Stanford football game each year, I also like to do something school-spirited with my nails. I tried OPI's "Black Shatter" crackle nail polish back in January 2011, and I really liked it. So when I saw this navy blue Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat at my local drugstore, I thought this would be a great way to combine my school colors! Crackle polishes create a unique design on your nails very quickly and easily! Read more... -
Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips in “Bling It On”
Posted on August 29, 2011 | Leave a CommentSome of you might already be aware of my fascination with Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips. These nail strips last much longer than any nail polish I've tried, and they always get lots of compliments (read more about them in my detailed review)! Although I've gone through 7 boxes of these Sally Hansen nail strips (and counting!), this is the first one I've tried with a glitter finish. This medium bright pink design is called "250 Bling It On". Read more... -
My Easter Basket!
Posted on April 27, 2011 | 6 CommentsLast Sunday, the "Easter Bunny" brought me a basket of candy and beauty products! I got a lot of things for my nails this year -- like 4 boxes of Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips (since the "Easter Bunny" has been seeing me applying these strips pretty often the past few months). Check out pictures of my basket! If you're curious who this mysterious "Easter Bunny" is, I mentioned it in my post about my Easter basket from last year). ;) Read more... -
Essie French Affair Nail Polish
Posted on April 20, 2011 | 2 CommentsEssie released a collection called "French Affair" for Spring 2011. This collection has 6 new nail polish shades in retro pastels as well as neutrals, all inspired by French glamour. Sticking with the pastel theme of my last makeup look, I wanted to try out one of the pastel shades called "French Affair". This color is a very retro 1960s pale pink! Read more... -
More Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips!
Posted on March 2, 2011 | 7 CommentsAt the end of my review of Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips, I mentioned that I got two more boxes but this time in "380 Collide-O-Scope" and "350 Misbehaved". I wore each one for about 2 weeks (and they survived bowling!). I took some pictures of how these two designs look like in case any of you are interested in trying these out as well!
