Urban Decay Smoked Palette Look 1
Posted on August 22, 2012 | 2 CommentsFor my first makeup look using the Urban Decay Smoked Palette, I came up with a basic neutral smokey eye that can be worn during the day and into the night. I used three colors: Kinky (matte ivory), Mushroom (shimmery warm pale gray), and Barlust (metallic dark golden brown). Kinky and Barlust are new and exclusive to this palette. I really like how applying Mushroom on the lid turned out -- it's a subtle gray that adds something special to a typical brown smokey eye. Read more... -
Urban Decay Smoked Eyeshadow Palette
Posted on August 15, 2012 | 7 CommentsUrban Decay has created a new palette for all the smokey eye fans out there! The Smoked palette provides the colors to create a wide range of smokey eye makeup -- whether you prefer something more neutral and everyday or very dark and dramatic or colorful and playful. This palette comes with 10 eye shadows (5 are new and exclusive shades), a full-size 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in "Perversion", a how-to booklet, and a travel-size original Eyeshadow Primer Potion! Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette Look 2
Posted on May 15, 2012 | 3 CommentsHere's my second makeup look using the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette! This look features pale golden beige ("Suspect") and dark bronze ("Snakebite"). Since I wanted to come up with something more dramatic, I applied the matte black eye shadow called "Blackout" just inside the outer V to create some depth. I also used my new Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in “Perversion” to line my lower waterline to finish the look. Read more... -
Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette Look 1
Posted on April 26, 2012 | 3 CommentsThis is my first makeup look using eye shadows from the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. I applied the shimmery pale beige-gray color called "Verve" on the center lid to create a glow against the darker brown colors. I also used the travel-size Lip Junkie Lipgloss that comes with this palette. This is an everyday look that works great for both day and night! If you're also a proud owner of the Naked 2 Palette, I'd love to see makeup looks you come up with too! :) Read more... -
Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette
Posted on April 12, 2012 | 3 CommentsI am a proud owner of the original Naked palette and have made several looks using it, so I wasn't in a rush to buy Naked 2 or any other palette for quite some time. Now that I have Naked 2 (after receiving so many requests about it!), I'm really liking the range of colors and finishes -- possibly even more than the original! Check out the eye shadow swatches, closeups of the double-ended brush, and how the Lip Junkie Lipgloss looks on my lips. Find out if this palette is right for you! Read more...
